In an interview with WCCFtech, Killing Floor 2 developers confirmed that the title featured ultra textures on Xbox One X but it ran at native 1800p. This triggered a little outrage from the community who thought that the game should be native 4K on the console. Many misinformed individuals began spreading the lie that it ran at native 4K on PlayStation 4 Pro but that simply isn’t the case. While Killing Floor 2 runs at native 1800p on Xbox One X, it only runs at checkerboarded 1800p on PlayStation 4 Pro. It’s not even native on Sony’s device so you should expect clearer visuals on Microsoft’s upcoming console. Plus, the developers have also increased the frame rate of Killing Floor 2 over the base Xbox One. For a complete list of games which run better on Xbox One X than PlayStation 4 Pro, check out our comparison.

In Killing Floor 2, players descend into continental Europe where the outbreak caused by Horzine Biotech’s failed experiment has quickly spread and gained unstoppable momentum, essentially paralyzing the European Union. The people of Europe know survival and self-preservation too well and lucky survivors have gone into hiding.
