Intel has launched a new program to help developers create AI-powered PC applications more quickly. The program, called the AI PC Acceleration Program, will provide developers with access to Intel resources and technologies.
In an updated blog post, the company said that it’s been rigorously working with more than 100 developers on over 300 AI-powered features, including audio effects, video editing, gaming, security, streaming, and video conferencing.
Some of the companies participating in the program include Adobe, Audacity, Blackmagic Design, and Zoom.
“These resources will help the ecosystem take full advantage of Intel Core Ultra processor technologies and corresponding hardware to maximize AI and machine learning (ML) application performance,” the company says.
Intel’s goal is to make AI more accessible and powerful for PC users. With the help of its partners, Intel is aiming to bring new and innovative AI-powered experiences to PCs in the coming years.
The AI Accelerator Initiative is a broader program that helps ISVs develop and deploy AI solutions across a range of platforms, including PCs, the edge, and the cloud. It provides ISVs with access to Intel resources and technologies, as well as training and support.
In fact, this isn’t the first time Intel is making the best out of AI. Not too long ago, the company’s Meteor Lake chip took the community by storm with its claim that it has better battery life thanks to its AI.
