Here's your reminder that Copilot Lab is coming to mobile users

Microsoft launched Copilot Lab, its one-stop solution that gives users access to make the most out of the AI-powered assistant tool. Released a little while ago during the Surface 2023 event, it’s a page with all the best resources like training videos or prompts to make on Copilot.

And now, it seems like Copilot Lab is making its way to mobile users. The Redmond tech giant says in a recent entry on its roadmap site (Feature ID: 396557) that Copilot Lab will be available in Copilot for Microsoft 365 on mobile platforms, coming to both Android and iOS platforms.

“Copilot Lab will allow users to browse and use suggested prompts in Copilot for Microsoft 365 on mobile platforms,” the update reads, suggesting that a rollout starts this month (May 2024).

Copilot comes with plenty of subscription plans to cater to different users, and it’s normal to get lost in them. Copilot for Microsoft 365 is designed for teams and work, costing $30 per user per month. A much more individual version is called Copilot Pro at $20 per user per month, and the difference mostly lies in work-oriented features like Copilot in Teams or Copilot Studio.

On Android and iOS devices, Copilot is available both as a standalone app and embedded in the Microsoft 365 mobile app. Launched back in February this year, Copilot’s Microsoft 365 mobile app integrates well with Word and PowerPoint on mobile. You can generate content wherever you work, or ask the AI chatbot to show key points of a PowerPoint slide.
