Google is making AI Mode in Labs more accessible to users across the U.S. Previously available by waitlist, the feature is now open to everyone. With this update, users can ask complex questions and get detailed answers across various topics. Whether it’s comparing tech products or assessing insurance options for a pet, AI Mode helps users make informed decisions.
AI Mode now also includes new features to improve your experience. It introduces visual cards for places and products, showing key details like ratings, reviews, and prices. Users can tap these cards for more information, such as store hours, product images, shipping details, and local inventory. For example, if you’re searching for a camping chair, AI Mode can give you product recommendations, including links to retailers and live inventory updates.

The update also makes it easier to track ongoing searches. Users can quickly revisit past queries and find relevant information, helping them continue tasks or ask follow-up questions.
In the coming weeks, Google will expand AI Mode to a select group of U.S. users outside Labs. The feature will continue to improve based on user feedback. Those not using AI Mode can visit Labs to try it out now.
