Google has rolled out a new update for its Clock app on Android. The new update borrows a feature from Google Home devices. Called Routines, the feature allows Google Home users to execute a set of tasks when a certain phrase is used. Google tweaked the feature and added it to the Clock app.

With the new feature in place, Google Clock will run a set of tasks after the alarm is turned off. These tasks range from changing the media volume to checking the weather and playing the latest news or audiobooks. The feature also supports Smart home devices so it can control the lights or set the thermostat and even start brewing coffee.

The update is rolling out in phases so there’s a chance you won’t see it right away. If you did get the update but the feature is not showing up then try restarting the phone and clear the cache. You can download the Google Clock update from the Google Play Store.
