Bad Trip is a surprisingly difficult and fun little free game that is worth checking out!

Overall Score: 4/5

The gameplay, presentation, and lasting value are all quite good!

Gameplay: 4/5

This game is pretty interesting… your character runs across the screen, and some neon signs move towards him. When he touches the signs, you have to hit the corresponding colored button on the bottom of your screen or else he will die. Your character also randomly jumps, which forces you to really be on top of things and react quickly to the various different colors and locations of signs. It’s sort of like Dance Dance Revolution in a way, since you have to hit the correct button when the color comes up to your character. The game is definitely challenging, but it’s satisfying too!

Presentation: 4/5

The visuals and music are also pretty good. The visual design is nice and always has something neat going on in the background, and the music fits with the gameร‚ย very well.

Lasting Value: 4/5

Even though the game only has three levels, it is quite tough to unlock the levels (at least for me it was), which will leave you playing the game for possibly two hours! After that, you can keep on playing the levels to go for a high score, and then submit your score to the leaderboards. The leaderboards only have all-time scores, but they quickly show you where you rank with everyone and are very competitive so far.
