For Honor next-gen upgrade

Ubisoft has revealed that there will be a free For Honor next-gen upgrade for players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

A rudimentary update will come this November, upgrading the game with better visuals, texture filtering, shadow resolution, improved reflections and more. On Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, the graphical updates will be available in 4K. Xbox Series S will run the game at 1080p.

The first For Honor next-gen upgrade will be playable at the game’s standard 30fps framerate, but Ubisoft will be refining the game to bring the game all the way to go 60fps. This update is currently scheduled for early December.

Thankfully, all save data, virtual currency, ranks, inventory and everything else will be transferable from current-gen to next-gen. As long as you stay within the same console family – PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S – everything will carry over.
