Larry Hryb has announced that Dragon Age II is coming to Xbox One via the backward compatibility program starting today.

Dragon Age II was less well-received upon launch compared to its predecessor, with players criticizing notable differences and lack of certain RPG elements that were present in Origins. Despite this, the series is still on of BioWare’s most beloved. Dragon Age II follows the story of Hawke, a displaced warrior in Kirkwall who rises to the title of the city’s champion amid a period of political turmoil.

If you missed it the other day, Saints Row 2 is now backward compatible on Xbox One as well.

As of May 1, all gamerscore earned in Xbox 360 games will now count towards your monthly leaderboard totals on Xbox One. This should be some extra incentive to jump back into your favorite games.
