Dark Souls: Remastered network test begins this Friday, download the client on Xbox One today

Before Dark Souls: Remastered launches later this month, Bandai Namco is holding a server test this weekend to ensure that the game can handle its online capabilities as intended come release day. For those wishing to partake in this network test, today is the last day to download the client.

“The first #DarkSoulsRemastered Network Test begins Friday, May 11 at 6 PM CEST and ends at 11:59 PM CEST,” reads a tweet from the official Dark Souls Twitter account. “The second test takes place at the same time on Saturday, May 12. You have until May 8 to download the client on your PS4 or Xbox1 and ensure your participation.”

You can download the network test client from the Microsoft Store for free.

Dark Souls: Remastered launches on May 25 and is available to pre-order for $39.99. It features Xbox One X enhancements and runs at 60FPS.
