A few days ago we reported that Apple may be working on a new iPad Mini, according to Mac Otakara. The device was said to be a new edition of the smaller and cheaper iPad which Apple eventually abandoned.

Now Slashleaks have posted a case for the purported device which gives us some detail of the features of the 10-inch tablet.

The case has a larger camera hole which suggests the iPad Mini will potentially come with a camera flash (or potentially a second camera). The rear microphone has also moved to the centre of the device, and the case also appears to sport what could be a headphone jack hole.

On the right side of the case, there also appears to be a space for the magnetic inductive Apple Pencil charger.

Tablets have been edged out of the market, with convertibles like iPad Pro and Surface Pro taking centre stage. It’ll be interesting to see if Apple manages to turn things around for the iPad with these new releases.
