Burger King and Sony team up to give away 1000 PS5 consoles

Sony has teamed up with that creepy plastic man from Burger King to give away 1000 next-gen PS5 consoles.
The Burger King PS5 giveaway will only be available in the United States, but those who eat from the fast food restaurant will be able to get the chance to win one of Sony’s consoles.
In order to win, customers have to make a $5 “pre-tax” purchase either inside a Burger King restaurant or on the fast food chain’s mobile phone app. Those who do will be given an entry token for the sweepstakes competition. Tokens are automatically redeemed through the app but in-store purchases will need to be redeemed online.
To make things fair, the rules state that customers can only earn one token per day.
A PlayStation 5 isn’t the only prize that can be won through the glutinous competition. Eaters will also have the chance to win the following prizes:
- Two Thousand (2,000) game codes of SackboyTM: A Big Adventure (“Digital Code”)
- Two Thousand (2,000) game codes of Demon’s Souls (“Digital Code”)
- One Thousand (1,000) digital codes of PlayStationTMNow: 3-Month Subscription (“Digital Code”)
The news of this collaboration between PlayStation and the fast food chain with the terrifying mascot started earlier this week when many thought the team up would bizarrely lead to the reveal of the PlayStation 5 UI.
