Bad News For Lumia Users In India, Microsoft Ending MixRadio Unlimited Music Download Subscription Service

Earlier this month, MixRadio team revealed that the company is working to re-enable voucher payments in India that will allow users to renew their unlimited subscription service in India. It seems they have given up on the idea and today announced that users will not be able to renew their unlimited subscription service.
You will no-longer be able to purchase renewals for your unlimited download subscription via Operator Billing, Credit/Debit Card or Voucher as this feature is no-longer available.
The streaming MixRadio service will still be functioning on your Lumia WP8 device without the unlimited download subscription, where you can enjoy all of your favorite artists and discover new ones. This is really a bad news for Lumia users in India. There are no alternatives in Windows Phone Store like Gaana+ and Saavn Pro which offers similar services. Hopefully, Windows Phone India developer relations team will resolve this situation soon.
