Few days back, we reported about an alleged image of Windows Phone 8.1 build running on a device. It revealed notification center tile with a {*} symbol in the top notification bar. While we were not able to confirm its authenticity, another alleged image of Windows Phone 8.1 got leaked today. Even this photo shows the notification center tile. It also reveals a new feature, the ability to select multiple tiles in the home screen. Why do we need this ability to select multiple Tiles? It could be the way to group Live Tiles on the home screen similar to Windows 8.1 or the new way to create groups of apps into folders. What’s your guess?
Windows Phone 8.1 is expected to be revealed only in Feb 2014 and Microsoft is expected to deliver WP8 GDR3 update before it. The GDR3 update will include new rotation lock, ability to close apps via multitasking, driving mode, restore over Wi-Fi when you reset the device and more.
