Update: A Microsoft spokesperson told us that Microsoft will begin to ship the HoloLens from March 30, as promised earlier.

Original story follows below.

Microsoft started taking pre-orders for the HoloLens earlier this year. The company is selling the developer edition of the device for $3000, and it’s taking pre-orders in waves. Now, according to Microsoft enthusiast Rafael Rivera, Microsoft has confirmed the shipments for the first wave of HoloLens devices. Apparently, the device could possibly arrive today, too.

For those wondering, Microsoft recently stated that the company will ship each wave of HoloLens over a period of “two to three months.” If you are one of the lucky people to be able to buy the HoloLens, make sure to let us know in the comment section below and discuss your expectations, too.
