Zenless Zone Zero Hits Xbox This July, Preorders Open with Free Starter Pack

Zenless Zone Zero, HoYoverse’s upcoming action RPG, lands on Xbox Series X|S on July 4, 2025. Preorders are open now, giving early buyers a free starter pack filled with in-game currency, items, and upgrade materials.

HoYoverse announced the release date during the latest Xenon: Spark of Courage livestream. While the game has been in development for PlayStation, PC, and mobile, this Xbox debut confirms full console support.The free starter pack includes 100,000 Dennies, 30 Master Tapes, and 5 Boopons, used to draw characters and Bangboo companions. Preordering also gets players Agent Corin and enough materials to upgrade her right away.

The game combines fast-paced combat with stylish visuals, set in the futuristic city of New Eridu. Players control a team of characters as they fight creatures called Ethereal. Xbox users will benefit from shared progress across platforms and receive the same global updates as everyone else.

This marks HoYoverse’s first Xbox release. While Genshin Impact is available on the platform, the absence of Honkai: Star Rail lets Zenless Zone Zero fill that gap and serve as an alternative.

Preorders are live now on the Xbox Store. The game will be free-to-play at launch with optional microtransactions.
