Microsoft has quietly released Xbox Game Pass for PC app and you can download the app right now from the Microsoft Store. However, this is not like your typical Microsoft Store app, frankly, it isn’t a store app at all.

If you search the Microsoft Store, you’ll have the Xbox Game Pass for PC app listed there and that’s about it. Clicking on the app will redirect you to the Xbox Game Pass for PC page of the Xbox website and from there only you’ll be able to download it and that in turn means that the Game Pass for PC app is a classic Win32 app and not a UWP.

With the new Xbox app for Windows 10 PC, it’s easier than ever to discover your next favourite game. Browse the library, view recommendations, filter by genre, and with the click of a button discover your next favourite game with Xbox Game Pass.

Microsoft announced Xbox Game Pass for PC last month. This will allow you to enjoy unlimited access to 100+ high-quality PC games from over 75 content partners on Windows 10. Prominent publishers including Bethesda, Deep Silver, Devolver Digital, Paradox Interactive, SEGA have agreed to release games as part of this new Xbox Game Pass PC service.

But before you get too excited, make sure that you’re running the latest version of the Windows 10 that is the Windows 10 May 2019 Update a.k.a. Windows 10 1903. Aside from that, to run the app smoothly, you’ll need at least an Intel i5-8300H or AMD Ryzen 5 3550H processor. Other requirements include no less than 8GB RAM, 3GB VRAM, 150GB Storage, DirectX 12 API, and 1080p display.

You can download Xbox Game Pass for PC app from the Xbox website here, or else hit the Microsoft Store.
