Xbox’s Elite Controller Series 2 will allow players to map Xbox functions to the device’s back paddles.

Announced by Xbox marketing manager James Shields, the new Elite revision will easily allow players to take snapshots of their games. With a tab of the controller’s back paddles, you’ll be able to easily take a screenshot or video.

With the controller’s three programmable modes, you’ll also be able to quickly move between set profiles. If your paddles are already in use, you can press a button to make them change function.

Original Story:

Microsoft has announced the all-new Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 at E3 2019, an improved version of the already stellar Xbox Elite pad.

With adjustable tension joysticks, trigger grips, improved bumpers, shorter hairlock triggers, rubberized grips, three game profiles, Bluetooth, internal battery, a charging dock and more, Xbox are creating the ultimate gaming controller.

For those who enjoy the original controller’s customisability, Microsoft is promising more with this upgraded controller. More options, more for you. What are your thoughts on the improved version of this already brilliant pad?

We’ve spoken our praise on the original controller, it’s a brilliant piece of tech, but this new version looks to improve upon every complaint we’ve ever had.

The all-new Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 features over 30 new ways to play like a pro, including adjustable-tension thumbsticks, new interchangeable components, up to 40 hours of rechargeable battery life, and limitless customization with the Xbox Accessories app on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.* *Battery life varies significantly with additional accessories, usage, and other factors.
