World’s thinnest touchcreen laptop, Spectre 13, now available for order

Along with the 2nd gen Spectre x360 convertible laptop announcement, last month HP announced its 2nd generation HP Spectre 13 laptop featuring refined design, latest Intel processors and other improvements. The 2nd gen Spectre 13 is now the world’s thinnest touch laptop at 10.4mm thickness and it comes with a masterfully sculpted chassis with a hidden hinge built using CNC aluminum and carbon fiber. HP is offering this laptop in a stunning Ceramic White with Pale Gold polished accents or Dark Ash Silver with Copper polished accents. HP has reduced the display bezels even further and customers can opt for Corning Gorilla Glass NBT displays in up to 4K high resolution.

Apart from the new design, HP has also improved the sound experience. The speakers are speakers are placed above the keyboard for clear and crisp sound. For improved performance and battery life, HP has included the latest 8th Generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors. Customers can configure this device up to 1TB PCIe SSD storage and memory up to 16 GB LPDDR3. HP claims that Spectre 13 will offer 11.5 hours of battery life, so the in the real-world it might offer around 7-8 hours. HP has also included Fast Charge technology that can charge from zero percent battery life to 50 percent on a 30 minute charge.
