Microsoft has pushed out an update to Windows Maps  app in the Windows store.

The company appears to be on a monthly release schedule and fortunately on this occasion the app comes with a full changelog, which includes:

  • Pin your Home or Work to Start for one-tap guided directions from anywhere
  • Find Santa and follow him as he travels around the world on December 24th*
  • Get lane guidance in turn-by-turn navigation (requires Windows 10 November update)

The app also includes a new traffic camera feature, which will let you peek at the live output of traffic cameras along your route, to see what conditions are really like.
