Microsoft has released a new Windows 11 Insider Preview build to the Beta Channel. Build 22635.2921 (KB5034212) includes a handful of fixes and a new feature that allows Insiders to choose how they receive new features. Here is the latest Canary channel.
One of the most significant changes in this build is how features will be rolled out to Insiders. Previously, all Insiders in the Beta Channel received new features simultaneously. However, with this build, Insiders can now choose whether to receive new features gradually or as they become available.
Insiders must keep the toggle off in Settings > Windows Update to opt for gradual rollout. New features will then be rolled out to their devices over time.
Insiders who want new features as soon as they’re available can turn on the toggle in Settings > Windows Update. This will give them access to the latest features as soon as they’re released.
While this release feels more like this change we talked about above, there were a couple of fixes as well
- General reliability improvements
- Resolution for a tabtip.exe crash that impacted text input for some Insiders
That’s it for this release. You can get more information here.
