Around a month ago Build 17666 of Windows 10 brought a dark theme to file explorer.
Now on a tweet, a Microsoft developer confirmed that the latest preview build of Windows 10 17686 brings improvements to the feature.

In this latest build, the dark colours appear better balanced and there are less unthemed areas in the application.
