Samsung Galaxy S21 FE

Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup was released earlier this year with a positive response from the reviewers, and users also gave it a thumbs up after using it. However, the lineup is a bit pricey for a lot of people. And if you are one of those who feel that way, Samsung might have some good news for you.

In the past few years, Samsung launched Fan Edition for every new Galaxy S series to offer the power of its premium flagship category phone at a lesser cost, significantly lower than the regular Galaxy S phone. The trend was broken, as there was no Galaxy S22 FE. But it looks like the cancelation of the S22 FE was an anomaly and not something Samsung wanted to follow in the future. How are we reaching that conclusion?

The Fan Edition for Galaxy S23 seems to be in the works, according to the latest 3C listing from China. As spotted by MySmartPrice, the model number for S23 FE is SM-S7110. It’s the same device spotted on the other certifications sites, including the one from South Korea. The latest 3C certification confirms we could soon see the Galaxy S23 FE in the market. Apart from that, the listing also reveals some important details about the handset.

It’s about the charging speed. The rumored S23 FE will be no different than its predecessor regarding charging speed. The listing has revealed that it will rock a 25W fast charging technology like the S21 FE, released a couple of years ago. However, it’s not a surprise, given that the base variant of the Galaxy S23 series has a 25W charging speed. The “FE” smartphone usually borrows a lot of specs from the base variant of the original S Seris phone, and S23 FE is unlikely to be an exception.

As for rumors, the Galaxy S23 FE is expected to have a 4500mAh battery, and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor or an Exynos 2200 SoC. While we don’t know whether these rumors will be accurate, we can safely assume that Samsung will not drastically change its looks — the S23 FE will look pretty much the same as the S21 FE.
