WhatsApp has released version 25.14.10.72 of its iOS beta via TestFlight, introducing an in-app browser feature for certain business website links. This update allows users to open select HTTPS-secured business sites directly within the app, eliminating the need to switch to external browsers like Safari or Chrome. The feature aims to streamline user experience by reducing app-switching, particularly when viewing product catalogs or customer service pages.

Not all links are compatible; only those meeting specific technical criteria, such as HTTPS encryption and business verification, can be opened within WhatsApp. Users retain the option to open links in their default browser via the three-dot menu, ensuring flexibility for more complex interactions like form submissions or account logins.

This functionality mirrors a similar feature previously introduced in the Android beta, reflecting WhatsApp’s effort to maintain consistency across platforms. Currently, the in-app browser is available to a subset of beta testers and will be rolled out to more users in the coming weeks.
