WhatsApp has released a new Android beta update (version 2.25.14.14) through the Google Play Beta Program. This update fixes a major bug that affected stickers, avatars, and GIFs in the app’s keyboard. The bug appeared in the previous beta version (2.25.14.12) and caused frustration for many users. These features, commonly used to enhance chats, were not loading properly, disrupting the messaging experience.
Some users also reported crashes when opening certain chats. Basic troubleshooting like clearing the app cache or restarting the device did not help, as the problem was caused by a deeper bug in the app. WhatsApp has now addressed this issue in the latest update. After installing version 2.25.14.14, affected users should find that stickers, avatars, and GIFs work normally again.

In addition to the bug fix, WhatsApp is also working on testing a new feature . It enables users to start a group chat with the option of not immediately including participants. This adds flexibility and makes it easier to use group chats as personal storage for notes, links, or media.
The fix is now available to all users in the beta program. For more updates and features, users can follow WABetaInfo on X (formerly Twitter).
