WhatsApp has released a new update to its iOS app which brings a couple of new features and bumps the app to v2.19.10. The company opened its beta program for iOS users last month and has released a couple of updates to add new features to the app. You can head below to take a look at the changelog for the update.

  • After supporting Location Stickers, WhatsApp has decided to allow the user to use any stickers on images, videos, and GIFs.
  • WhatsApp has also redesigned the Emoji section which now has different categories for different types of stickers like Location, Time and Personal stickers which can be added to the image.
  • After enabling on Android, WhatsApp has also added a reply privately option to the iOS beta. Users can now select a message in the group conversation and select reply privately to send a DM to a particular user.
  • WhatsApp has also added support for 3D touch in status so you can easily take a peek at the status shared by your contacts. When you peek a status update, WhatsApp won’t send the read receipt: so you can see the status update without sending any read notification!
  • More sticker improvements include checking the message info for a particular sticker when the stickers are grouped together. Moreover, you can now also select and forward or delete a single sticker when the stickers are grouped together.
