WhatsApp previously added fonts and other customization options into their mainline Windows 10 app, the firm is making more adjustments to customisation features in WhatsApp.

Spotted by OneTechStop, Facebook is now adding support for FixedSysFonts to their Windows Phone 8 Beta app. You probably aren’t using that app, but even if you are, it’s a bit hard to find. To make use of the new font, you’ll have to add three of these (`) symbols directly before and after the message you’re interested in sending.

In other words, your message should end up looking something like “`This“` when you’re typing, but it’ll, format itself properly in Fixed SYS when sent. It’s not terribly interesting for normal users, but perhaps power users will appreciate the ability to customise their messages a bit more

The update should roll out to Windows 10 Mobile users within the next few weeks.  Update: Snuck under the radar
