Ubisoft’s upcoming open world adventure Watch Dogs Legion is currently unplayable on Xbox One X.

An unexpected bug discovered by journalists during the game’s review cycle currently renders the game unbeatable around six hours into the open world game.

The overheating bug occurs in a mission ironically titled 404, a long-used error code. During this mission, Eurogamer reports that Xbox One X consoles freeze, overheat and shut down.

This Watch Dogs Legion bug is repeatable. Multiple journalists have encountered the bug and the 404 mission is currently unbeatable on the Xbox One X platform. No other platform is affected.

Ubisoft quickly responded to the situation saying: “We’re aware of this issue and there will be a hot fix due to be released on 30th October which should help.”
