Earlier this year, Microsoft introduced HoloLens – the company’s augmented reality headset powered by Windows Holographic. Now, the USPTO has granted Microsoft a design patent for the HoloLens. The patent titled as “headset with Visor” doesn’t reveal much information about the design of the software giant’s fascinating augmented reality headset.

Microsoft’s CEO, Satya Nadella recently announced that the HoloLens is a five year journey, however, the HoloLens is expected to go on a limited sale for enterprises sometime soon. Unfortunately though, consumers may have to wait a bit longer to be able to purchase the HoloLens.
