Twitter today rolled out a major update to its Windows 10 app to improved support for Twitter Live. The company is adding some new features and giving users more control over the feature with the latest update for its official Windows 10 app. First and foremost, Twitter will now notify you on your timeline whenever there’s a big live event happening. If you’ve used Twitter.com, you’re probably familiar with this new banner which lets you watch big events live on your main feed. The app also lets you disable this feature from settings, which means you can easily disable it if you don’t like to see live event alerts on your timeline.

Twitter has also added a ton of other settings for Twitter Live. You can now set the app to notify you whenever a featured event is starting, and it can also notify you an hour before an event is starting. Moreover, you can get notified about live events that are related to a certain industry, including the likes of eSports, sports, entertainment, and news.

The updated Twitter app with better Twitter Live support is now rolling out in the Windows Store, and you can grab it below.
