Twitter last year removed its app from Mac App Store due to poor reviews from users. Yesterday, Twitter released a all-new Twitter app for Mac users in the Mac app Store. This new app is ported from Twitter iPad app, thanks to the launch of MacOS Catalina that includes Project Catalyst. Through Project Catalyst, Apple allows developers to easily port their iPad apps to Mac with minimal changes.
