Twitter is killing its official Xbox app

Back in 2016, Twitter released its official app for Xbox One console. This app featured all live streaming video available on Twitter (including live streams of 10 NFL Thursday Night Football games, as well as content from MLB Advanced Media, NBA, Pac 12 Networks, Campus Insiders, Cheddar and Bloomberg News), and other Twitter content such as top Tweets and top global Vines and Periscopes. Today, Twitter announced that it will discontinue its Xbox app from May 24th.

On Thursday, May 24, Twitter for Roku, Twitter for Android TV and Twitter for Xbox will no longer be available. To get the full Twitter experience, visit https://t.co/fuPJa3nVky on your device or desktop.

Twitter is recommending users to visit Twitter.com through web browser to continue accessing Twitter experience.
