Twitter today has added a new feature that will make things easier for you to track conversations. The social media giant is currently testing three labels – ‘Author’, ‘Mentioned’, and ‘Following.’ They will be helpful in finding out who twitted to whom, who was mentioned, and so on and so forth, especially in a long thread. However, Twitter isn’t rolling out this feature to everyone as it wants feedback on the feature before a global roll-out.

In response, Twitter so far got a mixed reaction on the feature. While many are saying no one asked for the feature and that the company should introduce edit feature, many have welcomed them. Others are saying that this should be optional, meaning users should have the option to turn on or off the feature at their will, much like the Chronological Timeline Toggle.

As I said earlier, the feature is currently in testing stage and that means Twitter can also cancel the feature anytime. What do you think of this new feature? Do let us know in the comments section below.
