Mojang is today announcing Tumble, their second mini game Minecraft: Console Edition. It is a frantic competitive clash in which players destroy the very floor beneath their enemies’ feet, sending them plummeting to their doom. Also, it is available for free. There are two variants of Tumble to choose from. One of them lets players launch snowballs, the other equipping combatants with shovels. Each bout consists of a best of three, on a series of semi-randomised maps, each with several layers of differing materials and hazards.

Minecraft: Console Edition users can also get their the latest map pack for the first mini game – Battle. There are three new maps within: the colossal Castle, the incredible Shipyard and the terrifying Invasion and each of them costs $2.99.
