Todoist today introduced a major new feature coming to its service across all platforms, including Windows 10, Android, iOS and the Web. The feature, which the company is calling “Smart Schedule” intelligently suggests deadlines for your tasks based on your previous habits. Todoist says that the Smart Schedule feature is powered by artificial intelligence, and it learns your productive habits to predict the perfect due dates for your tasks. In addition to using your personal data to intelligently suggest deadlines for your tasks, Smart Schedule also uses data from other Todoist users to make the feature work even better.

When suggesting due dates for your tasks, Todoist’s Smart Schedule feature looks at your habits. The feature also determines the urgency of every task using anonymous data from all Todoist users, and it can also understand which tasks need to be done during weekends or weekdays. However, the best thing about Todoist’s Smart Schedule feature is the fact that it lets you set a daily and weekly goal — after that, it will recommend due dates based on your goals which is really nice.

Of course, you will still be able to set a due date for your tasks manually as usual — so if you’re not a fan of the Smart Schedule feature, you don’t have to worry about anything. Smart Schedule is available to all Todoist users, and it’ll be available shortly on the company’s Windows 10 app which you can download from the link below:
