Recently a blog DailyMobile.net claimed that Verizon was having problems integrating their remote management software in Windows Phone 8, and this may cause a delay or even cancelation of the roll-out of Windows Phone 8 handsets on one of the largest carriers in USA.

At the time we were sceptical, as we had knowledge directly of a handset in testing that was working perfectly fine.

Now Microsoft watcher and insider Paul Thurrott has weighed in on twitter, and made it perfectly clear that “There is no truth to the Verizon/Windows Phone rumor” calling it “Complete BS.”

Such rumours may of course be maliciously motivated, with companies like Nokia, who are very dependent on a smooth roll-out of Windows Phone 8, being targeted.  Hopefully an eventful roll-out in a few weeks will prove everyone wrong.

Thanks screwgoogle for the tip.
