Android Pie is currently making its slow roll-out to handsets from a variety of Android OEMs, and AllAboutSamsung has just discovered when the OS update will be making its way to your particular Samsung device.

Android Pie is bringing a variety of improvements including new gesture navigation, new material design, new screenshot tools, new settings, new rotation and volume controls, images in message previews and a lot more.

Android Pie will first roll out to the Samsung Galaxy S9 in January (some handsets are getting it already), with the rest proceeding as below:

  • Galaxy S9 (January)
  • Galaxy S9+ (January)
  • Galaxy Note 9 (February)
  • Galaxy S8 (March)
  • Galaxy S8+ (March)
  • Galaxy Note 8 (March)
  • Galaxy A8 2018 (April)
  • Galaxy A8+ 2018 (April)
  • Galaxy A7 2018 (April)
  • Galaxy A9 2018 (April)
  • Galaxy Tab S4 10.5 (April)
  • Galaxy J4 (May)
  • Galaxy J4+ (May)
  • Galaxy J6 (May)
  • Galaxy J6+ (May)
  • Galaxy A8 Star (May)
  • Galaxy J7 2017 (July)
  • Galaxy J7 Duo (August)

For Samsung handsets the biggest change would be Samsung’s new OneUI which makes one-handed use easier. Read more about that here.
