Christmas comes early as Samsung officially serves Android Pie with One UI for the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus

Samsung’s One UI is already making its way out to Android users as the firm is rolling out Android Pie for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus in Europe this Christmas Eve.

Android Pie is the current version k Android which officially launched two months ago with the Pixel and Pixel 3 XL. OEMs like HMD Global and Xiaomi have already served Pie to their users on stock devices and some other manufacturers like Huawei.

The firm will add Pie features like adaptive battery, app actions, and digital wellness along with Samsung’s own features like the much-lauded One UI. One UI is the revamp of Samsung’s Android interface aimed at making the system and built-in apps easier to use on the larger screened devices we use nowadays.

The update is available in European regions and can be installed by both Android Pie (beta) and Android Oreo users.
