The Weather Channel app for Windows Phone is now updated to v2.0 and its exclusive for Nokia Lumia devices for now. The Weather Channel app already supports multiple tiles, weather alerts, radar maps, detailed weather report, forecasts, etc,. This new version has added some more great features,
New Improved design of the app.
Weather AR – See the weather in a new way. Allows you to explore photos uploaded on Weather Channel’s iWitness service in a augmented reality mode. Photos are overlayed on the screen based on the location.
My Friends’ Weather – See how the weather is impacting those closest to you. Using Facebook or Microsoft account, you can easily get to know the weather at your friend’s place.
My Amazing Day – Get personalized weather alerts for the weather that matters to you. You can setup weather alerts with conditions of temperature, wind speed, etc,.
You can update the app from your Nokia Lumia device. You can find it under Apps from Nokia section in Marketplace.
