Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S exclusive horror game The Medium has been denied classification in Australia.
Reported by Kotaku, Bloober Team’s upcoming dual-reality horror adventure is currently banned from releasing in the region until certain changes are made.
The Australian Classification Board didn’t detail why the horror game is currently unable to be released in Australia, but developer Bloober Team is working on getting the title ready for an Australian release.
The development team said that they are “working on [Australian Classification] tomorrow and on Thursday” in order to get the next-gen game to Australian gamers.
The Medium releases on December 10th, 2020 for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. The game will be available through Xbox Game Pass.
