kyocera logoIn a press release Kyocera announced that it will be showing a prototype Windows Phone off at Mobile World Congress 2015.

The company is the third Japanese OEM to announce a Windows Phone, with Mouse Computers and Freetel also committed to producing Windows Phone handsets.

Kyocera has not explained the features of the device, but the company specializes in rugged handsets, and will also be showing off a solar-powered smartphone where the screen will be the solar panel.
