Telegram desktop app updated with Emoji improvements, more

In this day and age of increased snooping by both hackers and governments, it has never been more important to use an anonymous messaging service with end-to-end encryption which is not driven by some commercial or political agenda.

Popular privacy-focused messaging app Telegram has been updated in the Microsoft Store to version 1.6.7.

According to the changelog the update brings two new minor feature:

  • Replace media when editing messages with multimedia content.
  • Quickly jump to the top of your chat list.
  • Get emoji suggestions for the first word you write in a message.

Telegram is asking users to help them improve emoji suggestions in your language by using this interface here.

Support a privacy-focussed alternative by getting the app from the Microsoft Store here.
