One of Verizon’s best smartphone (at least according to their customer ratings), the HTC Trophy, is finally receiving the Windows Phone 7.5 MCR3 AKA Tango update.
The software brings MMS improvements and custom ring tones, but the best new feature is the addition of the WIFI hotspot feature for up to 5 other devices.
The HTC Trophy was released more than a year ago but still commands a $179 price, many times more than the $50 the Nokia Lumia 900 on AT&T costs. It is therefore great to see Verizon captives getting some new features to justify the cost.
