We posted yesterday about the Samsung Omnia 7 update going in testing for selected European carriers.
T-Mobile Germany support on Facebook has just posted that the update is now expected to roll out only in early November. T-Mobile support blames the “very complex†Windows Phone 7 OS which makes a roll-out to both HTC and Samsung devices “simply not feasibleâ€.
As mentioned yesterday, Samsung devices, independent of OS, are well know to have update issues, so we understand the caution, and we once again advise against forcing the update, with some users experiencing Bluetooth issues, and with the compass not working, and suggest simply waiting a few more weeks for the official version.
