Today, T-Mobile and MetroPCS announced that they will offer Lumia 635 Windows Phone 8.1 device in the US later this month. This is considered as the successor to the super successful Lumia 525 WP8 device.

  • The Lumia 635 will first be available from T-Mobile from July 5th on the Home Shopping Network to Simple Choice prepaid customers, and online beginning July 9th at www.t-mobile.com at $0 down + $7 per month for 24 months with a postpaid T-Mobile Simple Choice plan.
  • The Lumia 635 will then be available online and at select MetroPCS stores beginning July 18th for a promotional price of $99, and at participating T-Mobile stores nationwide July 16th.

T-Mobile and MetroPCS  also announced that they are planning to  make available an Over-The-Air update to Windows Phone 8.1 later this year for customers who own Nokia Lumia 521 and Nokia Lumia 925 devices.
