Disney has just tweeted that a new game – Star Wars: Assault Team is coming to various mobile operating systems, including Windows Phone.

Little is known about the game, but it is expected to be a turn-based combat game with elements of both strategy and card games.

Players will collect classic characters and use them to fight enemies by using them in conjunction with “special tactics” across a range of planets from the Star Wars universe, including locations from the original trilogy.

The game will initially be available only in selected markets before being available worldwide in Spring.
