Have you ever looked at your home and thought “The décor in here is just lovely, but you know what it’s missing? A life-sized baby suspended in a pod full of mysterious goo!”?

If so, congratulations! The Collector’s Edition of Death Stranding comes with exactly that, so you can fulfil all your unusual interior design needs. You can use your new baby lamp as a paperweight, as a projectile for shooing away unwanted visitors, as the centrepiece in a Christmas manger display – the world is your oyster.

On a more serious note, the life-sized BB Pod Statue (the baby lamp’s official name) isn’t actually a lamp. I think. Although you could probably wire up some LEDs or just shove a torch in there if you so wish. However, it is still part of the actually quite reasonably priced Collector’s Edition, which you can check out below.

The Collector’s Edition contains the following and retails for approximately $199.99 or £174.99:

  • Physical items:
    • Life-sized BB Pod Statue
    • BRIDGES Cargo Case
    • Ludens Keychain
    • Custom Steelbook case
  • Digital items:
    • Death Stranding: Timefall (OST)
      • Music Album digital download
    • Behind the Scenes Making Of digital video
    • 10 character avatars for PSN
    • Chibi Ludens PSN avatar
    • Death Stranding PS4 dynamic theme
  • In-game items (which are earned by playing the game and can be equipped by Sam):
    • Gold ‘Ludens Mask’ sunglasses
    • Gold hat
    • Gold Power Skeleton: Enhances Sam’s ability to handle heavy cargo
    • Gold All-Terrain Skeleton: Enhances Sam’s ability to balance on uneven terrain
    • Gold Armour Plate (Level 2): Better protection for Sam against falls, gunfire, and other various threats

So, you know, if you happen to have some spare cash and you’re itching to own a life-sized baby statue, the Collector’s Edition should be right up your alley. And hey, if you’re not into using life-sized baby statues as projectiles, the BRIDGES Cargo Case should work just as well too.

Death Stranding comes out on PlayStation 4 on November 8th. There’s also a chance that it’ll be coming to PC in the future, so keep an eye out for that.
