Sky Go app confirmed coming to Windows Phone

Around 3 weeks ago we posted on a rumour that the Sky Go app was coming to Windows Phone in Italy.

At that time we had no confirmation, but now Sky itself has posted an article in the Italian Sky Life magazine confirming the news.

WindowsPhoneItaly reports that the article specifies that the app will come to the “full range of Nokia Windows Phone 8 handsets” which suggests the app may be a Nokia exclusive, but with 90% of Windows Phone handsets being Lumias this is not a significant issue.

Hopefully the app, which is expected very soon, in the “first days of December”, will be coming to the rest of the Sky TV market also.
