Sega recently held a presentation for their investors discussing the health of the company and the future. Buried deep within the slides was the revelation that the company is planning on reviving dormant franchises. However, reviving dormant properties isn’t enough, you also have to bring them to a wide audience. Well, Sega plans on bringing the games to consoles. This is definitely great news for Sega fans.

While we don’t know which games will be revived, it’s safe to assume that incredibly popular titles will come first. Maybe World Series Baseball? Virtua Tennis? Or maybe something more recent? We don’t know yet but it’s always fun to speculate. On a side note, don’t expect these games to be announced all of a sudden, this presentation discussed Sega’s plans until 2020. Right now the company is focused on Sonic Mania and Sonic Forces and they’ll go from there.
