Microsoft’s Surface Hubs are a major fixture of CNN’s election coverage.

In the above video we have the CEO of Interknowlody, who created the UWP app which drives much of the visualizations, talking about developing the app for the big screen.

He notes the app needs to be super-reliable, running on live TV for 13 hours straight, while still being performant, discoverable and easy to use for multiple users.

He notes however that as his app is a UWP app it would run equally well on a PC or other UWP device, the promise of the Universal Windows Platform.
