A couple of years back, it’d seem outrageous to think that leaks about smartphones can come as early as two years before their launch date. But everything has changed in 2020 and we’re now getting information about smartphones that are going to see the light of the day in 2022. Tipster Mauri QHD has made some bold claims about the Samsung Galaxy S22, which is going to release in 2022.

The tipster has both bad news and good news. Samsung Galaxy S22 will be thinner than its predecessor, which is the upcoming Galaxy S21. And while that’s good news, the battery life is something that will make you worry as the Galaxy S22 will reportedly have “less battery.” However, the tipster clarifies that his claims are based on the current S22 prototype, and given the fact that we’re almost one and half years away from the launch date, things can change and the final product could very well be different than what the tipster claims.

Meanwhile, Samsung is all set to release the Galaxy S21 on January 14. The upcoming flagship Samsung smartphone will feature a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a screen refresh rate of 144Hz. The smartphone will pack a 108MP primary rear camera, a 40MP front-facing camera, and a 5,000mAh battery. The Galaxy S21 Ultra will be powered by Snapdragon 875 and will be based on OneUI 3.0. That’s all the details that the tipster shared with us. You can know more about the Galaxy S21 series here.
